TUESDAY: EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Why not come along for 5 minutes or more and spend some time quietly in
prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
What is Eucharistic Adoration?
Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honouring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us". During Eucharistic Adoration, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist.
By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be!
The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us.

ADVENT EXTRA 2013
"LIVING A LIFE OF PRAYER"
Dear Father, as we approach the celebration of the birth of Jesus,
may we bring the light of Christ to others in what we do and say.
May our acts of Charity give the gift of happiness to those in need.
May we also be peacemakers in our relationships with other people
both at home and in school. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Prayer should be part of school life. Please try and remember to pray each day using the School Prayer, Our Father or another appropriate prayer.
Prayer is also part of our weekly Year Group Assemblies with seasonal input—eg Advent. There are also weekly lunch time services held in the Oratory, namely, Eucharistic Adoration and Mass which are outlined below.

Parent Council- Race Night
The race night, organised by Colin Fitzsimmons, Vice chairperson of our parent council was, by all accounts, a
resounding success. The event was held at Ayr United's Hospitality Suite.
Connor Oates was the lucky winner of the £200 Freesat system donated by Mr C Fitzsimmons of Satellite Aerials Comms (who now has to install it beforeChristmas!). A long weekend break donated by Seton Sands Caravan Park was won by Brian Tyrie. A big thanks to John and Jimmy Cope and also to George of GB Race nights. Everyone appeared to have great fun and there were even calls to make it an annual event.
The big gamble seems to have paid off!
