Members of our senior classes attended a talk by Theresa Lindsey – Senior Lecturer in Fashion and Textiles at Clyde College – Cardonald Campus. Pupils were allowed to look at exciting exemplars of work – including a wedding dress made by a previous student. This was an exciting and informative talk. Which gave an insight in to the route in to the Fashion and Textiles Industry – an inspiration for our QMA designers of the future.
During the summer 5 pupils spent a week of their holidays completing the Dance Leader Award, which enables them to teach dance in our feeder primaries and to our own pupils at QMA. The successful pupils were:-
Amy McIlloney, Holly Hamilton, Neve Cassidy, Sophie Alexander and Emma Hughes.
