Kyle Academy 1 – 3 QMA
Well done to our boys for a fantastic performance! 3 second half goals from Scott McLean, Kyle Campbell and Declan Dunlop helped to see off our neighbours from across the river. 6 of the boys in our squad normally compete at U16s level so well done to them for stepping up to the plate! Here's hoping we can repeat last year's run and be victorious in the Ayrshire Cup!!
Songs Of Praise
Two S1 pupils, Joseph Hutchison and Michael Bargh, appeared on last Sunday’s Songs of Praise. They are both members of the National Youth Choir of Scotland and are re-auditioning soon to be part of the choir for future residential course and concerts. We are proud to have such talent in QMA!
This year's Christmas Fayre took place on Thursday November 29th 6-9pm The evening comprised of an Art Exhibition, Musical performances, Craft stalls and refreshments. Pupils from all year groups worked incredibly hard in order to complete their art work to exhibition standard. Design and Expressive folios from 2011-2012 session were also on display. Talented senior Art and Design pupils took the opportunity to further their own folios of work and were also on hand to discuss their work with parents and visitors.
Wonderful carols were provided all evening by the talented pupils from the Music Department; they really got everyone in the festive spirit. There were some fantastic arts and crafts on offer from the many wonderful craft stalls, many a Christmas present was bought! QMA pupils also worked hard manning their own stalls; selling the school Christmas cards and home baking amongst other enterprising goods. Mince pies and mulled wine were consumed and all visitors were in festive cheer - Santa Claus even made an appearance in his fantastic Grotto! A fantastic evening that brought the school and the wider community of Queen Margaret Academy together. Merry Christmas!

Jack Menzies, Matthew Mckeown, Jack Cassidy and Meaghan Slider. In particular Jack Menzies and Matthew McKeown worked unbelievably hard throughout the whole month and sold/made money on each and every lunch time. Two young entrepreneurs to keep a look out for!
Thank you to everyone who has supported the pupils throughout the challenge.
