On Saturday Ms McMillan, Ms McGhie and 10 pupils visited the BBC studios in Pacific Quay, Glasgow. This was the prize for “Best Movie” in the recent IDL project. Pupils were taken on an impressive walk round, seeing the various studios (TV & radio), editing and recording suites- and even got to record their own Archer’s type radio scene! The highlight of the tour however, was getting to sit in Jackie Bird’s news reading seat and read from the autocue! It soon became apparent that we have a number of future stars who may make it in the Media!!!
