A group of s5/6 pupils attended the University of the West of Scotland on Wednesday for their Creative Industries Conference. This was an event run by the University so that pupils could see the facilities on offer, get a chance to work with university students in workshops and classes and get first-hand experience of what being a student is really like. The pupils were really enthusiastic about the workshops they were able to take part in and were impressed with the university. It is now hoped that the university and the school will be able to forge close links and work together in the future
