The Art Department was involved in the S2 retreat on Friday 22nd March. S2 Pupils spent the time experimenting with printing techniques. Using tissue paper and collage, pupils chose one of
the Stations of the Cross which was the theme for the Retreat day and created a stained glass effect mono-print. The final results, depicting Jesus and the Cross, were very decorative and eye catching. One final banner of all 15 Stations of the Cross was created.
Pupils from the Music Department attended an Easter Vigil Mass in St Pauls Church shortly before the Easter break. The pupils played extremely well and were congratulated by several members of the congregation and also the Priest. They were a credit to themselves and QMA in their behaviour and efforts before and during the Mass.
